pt.1 & pt.2

A new sound is presented to the world - HIGH-LIFE MUSIC! Hardy Kingston brings you: Ear Condition. 12 world hits arranged for his 11 clever young musicians, who, together with the 3 Kingston Girl Singers, throw their weight behind the new sound and love every minute of it. Technical brilliance is a prerequisite, to be original, new, exiting, that's what counts and Beat is what they do best.

Hardy Kingston and his HIGH-LIFE MUSIC - that means up-to-the-minute, aggressive rhythm and a new conception to go around the world. The future is theirs. (MCA Liner Notes, 1970)

In 1963 Hartmut Kiesewetter changed the medical faculty for good and studied composition and trumpet at the Hamburg Academy of Music. He ran various bands and pop groups - i.e. he didn't stick to one line but regarded symphonic and light music and all style trends. Heinz Kretschmer, who was boss of Philips that time, entrusted the music student with a first arrangement comission. The result was a contract as head of an orchestra with MCA in 1970. B.t.w., in 1977 Kiesewetter became the producer of the Kings Singers.
