Don't skip this. The cover is typical German trash but the music is pure exitement. Time for another German legend from the Radio Stations. Since 1958 - when Kurt Edelhagen left for Cologne - Rolf-Hans Mueller became the guy in charge for the SWF (Suedwestfunk) Radio-Orchestra at Baden Baden (until 1979).
Rolf was married with the tennis champion Ritha Davar, with indian roots. Actually, that must be the reason for the exotic flavored tunes from 1966 - totally unexpected from German public radio station employees.
Last but not least, this library is a double performance of Rolf Hans' SWF Orchestra and his famous pianist Dieter Reith, who founded his own orchestra in 1962. In these recordings Dieter used a special three-fold dubbing technique merging his piano with cembalo and cool funky organ sounds (check it out on Arabia).
The record is highly recommended to everyone who loves sounds between Exotica and Latin Jazz.
