HPMasters takes You on a trip into yesterday's Dimensions in Sound.
The blog features what was called Light Music in Germany, way back in the 60s and 70s - played by Public Radio Stations as of NDR Hamburg, Hansawelle Radio Bremen, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Hessischer Rundfunk and Suedwest Funk Baden Baden, not to forget the WDR Cologne.
Some of us - from Germany - may remember these good old days and miss those A&R managers like Hans Guenter Oesterreich, Helmut Hansen, Charly Wagner or Austrian editor Ernst Grissemann from Vienna. Grissemann was the one who brought sounds to the northwestern German radio audiences in the 70s. People like him were engaged with producing tapes at 30 minutes lenght to be sent by post from Vienna to Hamburg for broadcast in nightly instrumental shows. Strange - wasn't it ?
I still remember those good old yester-days and keep my old tapes alive.
Here's the Next Dimension now:
The Now Sounds' Digital Masters - Outstanding Sounds.
Enjoy!
