Chor und Orchester Kai Warner (1976)




















This is Denmark, a view from the White Cliffs of Moen, called Moen's Klint. A very nice island in the sun with a capital city called Stege where an old islander owns a thrift store selling used books and records. As you may have noticed so far from the picture, I took a long sought after Kai Warner with me.

To my opinion, Werner Last's most prolific period was around 1975 when he produced The Road to Philadelphia, the Salsoul Sensation and this one which was totally unappreciated by radio stations. Especially, the wonderful arrangement on Lady Madonna was merely noticed by his brother Hans Last who re-arranged this tune later for his Beatles tribute in the 80s.
