British Gold (1969)

Only few artists can rival the multiple accomplishment of composer, arranger and orchestra leader Les Reed.

This is British Gold and it leads us to the most beautiful pop instrumentals ever which have been covered so many times by other arrangers so that people have almost forgotten about these marvelous originals. Here they are in a huge collection including Les' debut LP from 1969 on Decca Phase 4, i.e.
Love Is All, and other excerpts from a London compilation from 1971.

It might be of interest to know that besides Les also Colin Frechter and Pete Smith signed responsible for a number of arrangements in this collection, see track list.
